Laser engraving

Deep engraving of date stamps using the laser.In contrast to other engraving processes, laser engraving is entirely contact-free. The material is fused and evaporated by using only laser light. There is no need to fasten the workpiece in place during processing. Highly precise 3D engraving can be produced using the AC-LASER Software together with a laser control system, which has been optimized for the relevant application, and high-quality optical components. This process is used, in particular, if filigree texturing and engraving in molds, dies or coin minting stamps are required.

Laser burn cutting

Laser burn cutting with laser cutting systems by ACSYSOxygen is used as the cutting gas for laser burn cutting. During the separation process, the oxygen introduces additional heat into the workpiece due to the localized oxidation of the basic material in the cutting joint, thereby accelerating the cutting process. Laser burn cutting is ideally suited for manufacturing parts quickly and efficiently, whose visual appearance will continue to change due to subsequent surface finishing processes.


Laser fusion cutting

Laser fusion cutting of 1 mm stainless steel with laser cutting systems by ACSYS.Laser fusion cutting has the advantage of producing a virtually oxide-free cutting edge. The cutting gas is an inert gas. Inert gas blows the molten material out of the separating joint and cools the cutting edge. Laser fusion cutting is used if workpieces must fulfill high visual requirements without further processing. If subsequent alterations of the material are unwanted, then hygiene and laboratory engineering aspects must also be taken into consideration.


Laser-remote-cutting

Laser-remote-cutting (laser sublimation cutting) with laser cutting systems by ACSYSLaser-remote-cutting (sublimation cutting) is the laser cutting of very thin and sensitive materials, which are cut without the use of cutting gases. This means that the laser alone evaporates the material, thereby removing the material layer by layer and creating a very thin cutting gap. This process offers unique solutions for processing a wide range of very different composite materials.

2D and 3D graphics as well as text can be edited directly on the workpiece using camera-based editing. A dual-camera solution provides an additional ultra-high-resolution preview of the workpiece straight through the laser beam.
